Hotshot trucking from Houston

A rig is down, a crew is waiting, and the part is four hours away. Hotshot moves it direct on a smaller truck — no terminal, no consolidation, no waiting for a full trailer.

What we haul

When the clock is the problem

Downtime parts

The replacement component with a rig, a line or a crew standing idle behind it.

Oilfield deliveries

Valves, fittings, pumps and tooling out to sites across the Gulf Coast corridor.

Small machinery

Compact equipment, skids and attachments that do not fill a trailer.

Jobsite runs

Material a crew is short of today, not next week.

Partial loads

Freight too big for a courier and too small to pay for a full truck.

Same-day and overnight

Dedicated runs where the truck carries your load and nothing else.

Equipment

Hotshot against a full trailer

Equipment Typical deck Max legal cargo Best for
Hotshot 46' gooseneck 18,500 lbs Urgent freight that moves direct, on its own truck
Hotshot 40' gooseneck 18,500 lbs The same, on tighter sites where 46 feet will not turn
Flatbed / Step deck 48' – 53' 45,000 lbs When the load outgrows what a hotshot can legally carry
Air ride on every unit

The whole fleet runs air ride suspension. The trailer absorbs the road instead of passing it to the deck, which matters when what you are shipping is calibrated machinery, electronics or anything that does not react well to being shaken for six hundred miles.

Weights shown are what our equipment carries. Loads beyond legal dimensions are still movable under permit — tell us the dimensions and we will tell you what it takes.

Asset-based

The truck at your dock is ours

01 / Accountability

We own the equipment and employ the drivers. When something changes on the road, you hear it from the company moving your freight, not from someone relaying a message.

02 / One phone call

Dispatch answers directly at (800) 905-4935. No ticket queue, no waiting on a carrier to call a broker back.

03 / Consistent handling

The same drivers, trained on the same securement standards, load your freight every time. That consistency is hard to get from a rotating pool of subcontractors.

04 / Insured

$1,000,000 auto liability and $100,000 motor truck cargo. Certificate of insurance available on request — ask dispatch and it goes out the same day.

Coverage

Based in Houston, running the lower 48

Houston puts us inside the Gulf Coast industrial corridor, so short-notice pickups around the port, the ship channel and the refining complex are routine rather than exceptional.

From there we run the contiguous United States. Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma lanes are the ones we cover most often.

What we need to quote
  • Pickup and delivery — city and state is enough to start
  • What it is — commodity and whether it is crated, coiled or loose
  • Dimensions and weight — length, width, height and total pounds
  • Dates — when it is ready and when it has to land
  • How it loads — dock, forklift, crane or driven on

Questions

Before you call

What is hotshot trucking?

Hotshot uses a medium-duty truck and a gooseneck trailer instead of a semi. It suits urgent loads that are too small to justify a full trailer. The truck is lighter, so it gets moving sooner and reaches sites a tractor-trailer would struggle with.

How fast can you pick up?

It depends on where the equipment is at that moment. Call dispatch at (800) 905-4935 and you will get a straight answer on timing, not a callback.

How much can a hotshot carry?

Up to 18,500 pounds, on a 40 or 46 foot gooseneck. Above that the load belongs on a flatbed or a step deck, and we will tell you so rather than send a truck that cannot take it.

Is the truck carrying anything else?

No. A hotshot run is dedicated — your freight goes on, the truck leaves, and it does not stop to consolidate along the way. That is what makes it fast.

Do your trailers have air ride?

Yes, on every unit. Air ride suspension lets the trailer absorb the road instead of passing it through to the deck. It matters for calibrated machinery, electronics, instrumentation and anything else that does not react well to being shaken for six hundred miles.

Are you asset-based or a broker?

Asset-based. We own our trucks and trailers and employ our drivers. The truck that shows up at your dock is ours.

Tell us what you need moved

Dimensions, weight, where it is and where it has to go. We will come back with a firm number.
